Simply add water to the pellets for more hydration in warm weather or when travelling and competing. Also a great option for seniors or those with dental issues when proper chewing becomes difficult. In cold weather just add warm water to take off the chill.

Reduce Waste: 
Naturally there is less waste compared to feeding out hay, which can be spread around and soiled when trampled on.

Feeding:
Age, weight, activity and weather could influence the amount you may want to feed. If your horse or pony has never been fed hay pellets then start introducing by replacing a small portion of their hay or other source of fiber each day. Gradually increase over 10 to 14 days. Remember to go by weight not volume as the pellets provide a source of dense fiber. You must provide access to water and salt at all times.
